The Institute of Neurotoxicology and Neurological Disorders (INND) is a Seattle-based non-profit 501(c)3 organization that has focused for the past 10 years on research and education about chemicals and toxic agents. INND is particularly interested in ways to use existing scientific information to help the public and policy makers make well-informed decisions.
INND strives to provide science-based information that educates and empowers citizens to make choices that create healthy, sustainable communities and environments. More information about INND.
The Collaborative on Health and the Environment (CHE) is committed to protecting the health of families, children and communities from pollution and other environmental factors that contribute to chronic disease and disability. By cultivating a diverse, dynamic, science-based learning community, CHE strengthens our collective capacity to translate the latest environmental health research into health-promoting programs, policies and practices.
Founded in 2002 as a program of Commonweal, CHE currently has more than 5,000 individual and organizational partners in over 90 countries and all 50 US states. These include scientists, health professionals, health-affected groups, government agencies, health and environmental justice advocates and other concerned citizens, committed to improving human health across the lifespan.
