Takeshi Morita, PhD is Section Head of Division of Safety Information on Drug, Food and Chemicals, National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS), Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Morita works in the fields of chemical safety, e.g., safety evaluation of chemicals, ICSC (International Chemical Safety Cards) and GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals). Before his career at the NIHS, he worked in preclinical safety, especially genetic toxicology, for a pharmaceutical company for more than 20 years. He is interested in expert judgment, weight of evidence approach on classification of chemicals.
