Particles on the Wall: the Hanford Traveling Exhibit- the first exhibit of its kind, is an interdisciplinary exhibit exploring elements of the nuclear age, science, Hanford history, their thread through our lives and their bearing on the Columbia River and natural world.
The exhibit interweaves visual art, poems, and science with history and memorabilia to address issues of radioactive contamination, nuclear weapons and technology in Washington State, and their roles in southeastern Washington's desert landscape as well as impacts on local and global communities.
Unveiling Climate Change is an exhibit of work by sculptor and science educator Lin McJunkin, Cheryl Richey, and others. The works in this exhibit advocate for the health of our fragile planet and all of its plant and animal inhabitants, including humans.
Join us to mingle with artists, poets, and scientist exhibit contributors, enjoy refreshments, and gain inspiration for action.
