On August 6, 1945 the first of 2 atomic bombs was dropped on Japan. The bomb "Little Boy" was dropped from the Enola Gay, killing an estimated 80,000 people and destroying 68% of the city's buildings. The effects of the years after, as people became sick from radiation poisoning.
