Sean Foley
Overview
Sean Foley grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Truman State University in 2006 with a BA in History and a minor in Economics. His academic interests are international and environmental policy. He recently took a leave from his duties with Toxipedia and served as DEputy Communications Director on Congressman Dennis Moore's (KS-3) successful reelection campaign.
Sean is on the Board of Sunshine 4 Orphans and in that context, traveled to East Africa in early 2007 where he and three friends oversaw the production of a residence at an orphanage outside Nairobi, Kenya. The group had fund raised in the states to build the building. While there, Sean taught English and Math to the younger children (4-5 years old) and is currently writing a piece on the trip and on the aid situation and orphan epidemic in Kenya.
He attends the University of Kansas School of Law and lives in Lawrence, KS.
