Nick Thorp joined the Toxipedia staff in July of 2008 to manage the development and launch of IPMopedia. Since that time Nick's responsibilities and role has broadened as he now serves as project manager for Toxipedia, IPMopedia, the World Library of Toxicology, and the Washington Nuclear Museum and Educational Center.
Since moving to Seattle 4 years ago Nick has worked at a variety of non-profit organizations on projects related to strengthening food systems and organic farming. Nick graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in International Environmental Studies and French.
Nick also works as a guide for Evergreen Escapes, a Seattle based adventure travel company. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, camping, playing guitar, and seeing music up and down the West coast.
