Joe Indvik served as the Lead Content Developer for the Toxipedia daughter-site IPM-opedia during winter 2008. He plans to return in summer 2008.
Joe is a sophomore at Dartmouth College. He is pursuing a major in Economics modified with Environmental Studies, with minors in Ancient History and Environmental Public Policy. This fall, Joe plans to attend a three-month environmental studies program in southern Africa where he will explore social, economic, and ecological issues surrounding development and environmentalism in South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, and Namibia. He is interested in environmental economics and fossil fuel geopolitics. He plans to pursue a career as an environmental consultant or energy analyst.
Joe is originally from Boone, Iowa. In his free time he enjoys working out, movies, and electronica/dance music, with a particular fondness for the work of Armin van Buuren and BT. He will be a Dallas Cowboys fan until the day he dies.
