Overview

Helena Carmo is a Professor in the Toxicology Department of Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Porto (Portugal). She finished her graduation course in Pharmaceutical Sciences and her PhD in Toxicology in the same University. During her PhD she studied at University of Leipzig (Leipzig - Germany) and at University of Mainz (Mainz - Germany). Her main research field is focus in genetic polymorphism in metabolic studies. She is a Country Corresponding from Portugal for the World Library of Toxicology.
