Gregory Wyche is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he studied Environmental Science, with a concentration in Geoscience. After graduating, he spent several months with the Fish & Wildlife Service at Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia, observing wildland fire effects on local flora, through the Student Conservation Association. In the fall of 2009, he will be teaching undergraduate geology labs at the University of South Carolina while pursuing a masters degree in geology, which will hopefully be followed by a PhD. His interests include novel writing, amateur filmmaking, sedimentology, geochemistry, organic geochemistry, marine geochemistry, petrology, physics, rock climbing, and volunteering with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Through his various creative endeavors, he has interfaced with members of both the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Central Intelligence Agency.
While at Toxipedia, Greg developed the amazingly extensive Glossary of toxicology terms.
