Elinor Kriegsmann retired from the profession of speech/language pathology several years ago. Her passion was to help children with complex speech and language disorders by teaching therapists and developing programs. Elinor was a clinical instructor at the City College of New York and the University of Washington. She also directed the pediatric program at Speech/Language and Learning Services of Group Health Cooperative in Seattle for over 20 years. Particular areas of interest were autism and language learning disabilities. In retirement, one of her volunteer activities is helping with research at the Washington Toxics Coalition.
