Alexander the Great (July 356 BC - June 11, 323 BC) was the king of Macedon (336-323 BC) and one of the most successful military commanders in history. on June 10-11, 323 BC, Alexander died of a mysterious illness in the palace of Nebuchadrezzar II of Babylon. Some believe that Alexander was poisoned by either hellebore or Strychnine.
