The following websites serve as additional resources related to large-scale composting in Western Washington:

  • Four Creeks Unincorporated Area Council was created as part of the King County Citizen's Participation Initiative with the intent of enhancing opportunities for public involvement and to improve citizen access to information and services provided by King County government. Specifically, Four Creeks has been advocating for citizen participation in the unincorporated area that lies roughly between Renton, Newcastle, Issaquah, and Maple Valley. The Council sponsors the Atlas Program which brings high-quality maps and spatial analysis to non-profits and public organizations through a partnership with Green River Community College's GIS Program.
  • Citizens for a Smell Free Snohomish County is a community group that runs a blog raising awareness about the odor issue in the greater Marysville area as a result of Cedar Grove Composting.
